XIIITH INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM OF GENEALOGY

XIIIth International Colloquium of Genealogy was held in 2023 October 19–21 Madrid (Spain). Colloquium was organized by the International Academy of Genealogy, Real Associación de Hidalgos de España, International Insitute of Genealogy and Heraldry. The International Academy of Genealogy colloquium theme: "Lines of research for the future. Challenges for the 21st century of a historiographic science". During the three days of AIG colloquium, 43 lectures genealogy topics were presented. AIG colloquium participated in Genealogy specialists from 12 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, San Marino, France, Germany, Scottish, Romania, Lithuania.
During XIIIth International Colloquium of Genealogy the General Assembly of the International Academy of Genealogy took place and the new Executive Board in charge for the four-year period 2024–2028 was elected: President : Maria Loredana Pinotti degli Uberti (Republic of San Marino); 1st vice-president : Manuel Pardo de Vera and Diaz (Spain); 2nd vice-president : Pier Felice degli Uberti (Italy); Treasurer : Manuel Ladron de Guevara and Isasa (Spain); Secretary : Giorgio Cuneo (Italy); Commisioner : Mario Jaramillo Contreras (Spain); 1st counsellor : Dirk Weissleder (Germany); 2nd counsellor : Valerie Gautier (France).
