The Congress was held at the headquarters of the Royal Association of Hidalgos of Spain who also organized the event in conjunction with the Confédération Internationale de Généalogie et d'Héraldique (CIGH); the Académie Internationale de Généalogie (AIG); the International Institute of Genealogy and Heraldry (IIGH) and the Institut Internacional d'Études Généalogiques et d'Histoire des Familles, with great success of participation both in-person and through the internet, with a number of 25 speakers, several of them online, and from different countries and in differente languages.

Participating in the official opening on the 17th of February, were Manuel Pardo de Vera y Díaz, President of the Royal Association of Hidalgos of Spain (RAHE);  Eduardo Pardo de Guevara y Valdés, President of the International Institute of Genealogy and Heraldry (IIGH), with the online intervention of  Pier Felice degli Uberti, President of the Confédération Internationale de Généalogie et d'Héraldique (CIGH); and Maria Loredana Pinotti, President of the Académie internationale de Généalogie (AIG).
