4th International Colloquium of Genealogy, Heraldry, and Vexillology (ICGHV4) 2025 – Vilnius, Lithuania
Theme: “Heads of State: Ancestry, Coats of Arms, and Flags” 

Genealogy, heraldry and vexillology scholars, researchers and experts from 17 countries will participate in the Colloquium: Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Norway, Germany, Portugal, France, Slovenia, South Africa, USA, Ukraine, and Vatican

The Institute of Genealogy, Heraldry and Vexillology organized the 4th International Colloquium “Genealogy, Heraldry and Vexillology” (hereinafter referred to as ICGHV4) at the State Historical Archives of Lithuania on June 5–6, 2025, which was attended by genealogy, heraldry and vexillology scholars, researchers and experts from 17 countries: Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Norway, Germany, Portugal, France, Slovenia, South Africa, USA, Ukraine, and Vatican. ICGHV4 theme: “Heads of State: Ancestry, Coats of Arms, and Flags”.
32 lectures were read in one day. On the second day, a tour of the Old Town of Vilnius – was organized for guests from abroad.
The Institute of Genealogy, Heraldry and Vexillology will organize the 5th International Colloquium “Genealogy, Heraldry and Vexillology” on May 22–23, 2026, at the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania (4 Cathedral Square in Vilnius, www.valdovurumai.lt).
