XIII INTERNATIONAL COLLOQUIUM OF GENEALOGY

International Academy of Genealogy invite you to participate in the XIII International Colloquium of Genealogy which will be held on 19–21 October in Madrid (Spain). Theme: "Research lines for the future. Challenges for the 21st century of a historiographical science".

Application
All those who wish to attend the Colloquium are invited to fill in the enclosed application form and return it before September 30th, 2023.

Lectures
The participants who wish to present lectures should send the application form with the title and a brief summary on the chosen subject (2000 words). The Scientific committee will examine the submitted papers and will notify all participants if accepted by August 31st, 2023. The lectures should not exceed 30 minutes in order to leave space for debate. The deadline for the submission of the papers is September 30
th, 2023. Manuscripts should not exceed 25 pages (1850 words total) and have a one-page abstract. Participants who wish to use over-head projectors, or any other multimedia device, should inform the Secretary before August 31, 2023. The lectures must be in one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, French, English or German.

Excursions
All participants and accompanying persons will have the opportunity to visit very interesting places and monuments.

Place of the Colloquium
All Colloquium proceedings will be held at the RAHE headquarters - C/General Arrando 13, Bajo izda. 28010 Madrid.

Registration fees
There is no fee to register. Registrants may participate in all meetings and activities of the Colloquium as well as attend the official reception and receive a printed copy of the proceedings. The cost of guided tours, luncheons and the Gala Dinner held during the Colloquium must be paid by the participant at the time of booking.

Travel and hotel reservations
All those who send the application form will receive further information on hotel arrangements and special airline fares, if any.

Future notices
The next notice of July 31st, 2023 will include all final details related to registration, tours and activities, transportation, and any other useful information. The participants who want to receive the last notice must send the application form duly fulfilled within June
30th, 2023.
